Welcome to IOU Pay. By using this app, you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

IOU Pay is a personal tracking application that allows users to create and manage informal IOU (I Owe You) records between individuals.

IOU Pay does not provide loans, credit, lending services, or payment processing.

2. No Financial Services

IOU Pay is not a financial institution, bank, lender, or payment processor.

We do not:

  • Issue loans or credit
  • Guarantee repayment
  • Enforce financial agreements
  • Handle or transfer money between users

All IOUs are private personal agreements between users only.

3. User Responsibility

Users are fully responsible for:

  • Creating IOU agreements
  • Verifying the identity of other users
  • Managing repayment agreements
  • Resolving disputes independently

IOU Pay is not responsible for any disputes or losses.

4. No Legal Enforcement

IOU entries in this app do not constitute legally enforceable debt instruments. They are intended for personal tracking purposes only.

5. Account Usage

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Engage in fraud
  • Abuse the system
  • Harass or mislead other users

6. Data Usage

We store your IOU data only to provide app functionality.

7. Limitation of Liability

IOU Pay is not liable for:

  • Missed payments
  • User disputes
  • Financial loss
  • Incorrect data entry

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use means acceptance.
